CHRIS ROBSON (MANAGING DIRECTOR FCCA)

I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1993 and in 1995, after several years’ experience of large company finance, I made the move to accountancy practice joining Robsons as a Partner advising small and medium sized businesses on their tax and accountancy issues.

I enjoy my work, and for over 20 years now I have had the great privilege of working with many excellent small businesses, some of which have grown to be very successful larger enterprises. It is these years of experience which I enjoy using for the benefit of my clients and helping them achieve their goals whilst minimizing their tax!

Outside of work, I am a keen swimmer , cyclist and runner; in 2015 I completed the Barcelona Ironman – a once in a lifetime experience for me! The exercise now keeps me fit enough to just about keep up with our teenage children who take up the rest of our spare time!

GRAHAM BONNER-LENEY (SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT, FCCA)

I joined Robsons in 2002 having previously run my own business, I decided to become a full time accountant andI qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2004. I enjoy providing tax advice to small and medium-sized companies and my expertise covers both corporate and personal taxation.

I believe strongly in offering a practical approach to clients’ financial situations, but not only listening to their needs, but also providing tailored accountancy and tax advice based on my knowledge, experience and what is best for each client to achieve their business objectives.

In my spare time I can be found playing tennis, running and gardening but with two young daughters a large proportion of my time is spent watching sport (or acting as an unpaid taxi service) and helping to organise a local lacrosse club.

TONY CHALMERS (Senior Tax Manager, FCCA)

I started my accounting career in 1990 and qualified as an accountant whilst working as a management accountant for a financial public relations firm in London. In 2003, I was given the opportunity to join a small accountancy practice where I gained a greater appreciation of the needs and expectations of clients with regard to their taxation and accountancy requirements.

I joined Robsons in April 2006 where I use my extensive experience to assist a wide variety of limited company’s, partnerships and sole traders with their business, accounting and tax affairs.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and young daughter. Any time left after this is spent trying to keep fit and healthy, however life always provides many excuses (my words)!

MARTIN ROBSON (Senior Accounts Manager)

My first appointment was when I joined the Robsons in 1993 and since then I have gained many valuable years experience in all taxation and accountancy matters. This experience, and my friendly approachable attitude, has helped build my personal client base to over 500 clients, ranging from small sole traders and partnerships to limited companies. I have an excellent business relationship with all my clients and will continue to do so in future by giving a 100% first class service.

Outside of work, I am a big family man where by my wife and two children take up most of my spare time, but I still enjoy the occasional game of rugby and can be quite handy with a tennis racket.
